High School Junior Scholarship
St. Bonaventure is pleased to announce we are now accepting nominations for our annual Junior Scholarship Program: the Bonnie Scholarship.
At St. Bonaventure, our Franciscan values of community and service are cornerstones of our identity, mission, and culture. This scholarship rewards students based on qualities that reflect the core values of our university, including academic excellence, community, integrity, wisdom, leadership, social responsibility, compassion, and an appreciation for diversity.
$22,000 annually - or $88,000 over 4 years of study
The university will determine whether the nominee is a recipient of the Bonnie Scholarship. The scholarship requirements include:
- A minimum GPA of 85% in core classes (coursework/grades achieved will be reviewed and evaluated).
- Exhibit leadership qualities through their involvement in school and/or community activities (curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities).
- A desire to attend a college that fosters the mission represented at St. Bonaventure University.
*Note: Junior Scholar Award recipients will receive the Junior Scholar award won or, if they qualify, a larger merit-based scholarship at the time of application. The larger merit-based scholarship will replace the JR Scholarship award won if eligible.
Nominations must be received by May 18, 2025.
High School Counselors may nominate up to seven (7) students for the award.
